Features
Flash-spun nonwoven fabric is produced by dissolving polyethylene in a solvent and extruding it at high pressure through a spinning nozzle. This rapid “flash” process forms ultra-fine continuous fibers with an average diameter of approximately 1 μm, which are then deposited to form a nonwoven fabric.
Flash-spun nonwoven fabric combines high moisture-vapor permeability and water resistance with high strength. Despite being made from a single material, it offers performance comparable to that of composite nonwoven fabrics.
These unique properties make flash-spun nonwoven fabric suitable for a wide range of applications.
