HighChem Company Limited (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Taka Ushio, hereinafter referred to as HighChem) has reorganized its organizational functions on January 1, 2021.

In the Fifth Medium-Term Management Plan released last year, HighChem set a vision of "a company capable of sustainable growth. “This fiscal year, we will go further step and establish the division dubbed "Sustainabation", which is the combination of "Sustainability" and "Technological Innovation." The new division will focus on C1 chemical business, which is one of our core businesses, the catalyst business, and biodegradable material business. We will also conduct business development aiming at realizing carbon recycling and hydrogen society.

Details of major organizational changes

The Sustainabation Division was established to bundle the C1 chemical Department, which manages the licensing business, the chemical business that derives from this business, and the carbon recycling business; Functional material Department, which handles biodegradable materials; The Industrial Catalyst Department, which handles catalysts.
