HighChem Showcases an Array of Sustainable Chemical Raw Materials and Intermediates
HighChem Company Limited (headquartered at Minato-ku, Tokyo President and CEO: Ushio Taka, hereinafter refered to as HighChem) will be exhibiting at the Sustainable Material Expo held at Makuhari Messe from Wednesday, October 4th, to Friday, October 6th. In addition to resins (polymers), we will exhibit Biomass monomer and Biomass polyol, which are made from plant-derived raw materials that contribute to reducing CO2 concentration and fossil resource consumption, and Caprolactone-related products, for which demand is expanding worldwide.
Venue: Makuhari Messe Hall 4-5 Booth number: 27-38

Introducing Biomass monomer, Biomass polyol bionylon, etc. made from plant-derived raw materials
As for biodegradable plastic, we will exhibit polylactic acid (PLA) and PHA, a marine degradable resin!
Our own water-based Ceramic binder "Serander®" is also available!
Highlight 1: Exhibiting Caprolactone-related products, which are expected to grow in global demand
HighChem has entered into a sales agency agreement in Japan with Hunan Juren Chemical Hitechnology Co.,Ltd., a supplier of ε-Caprolactone. This monomer is expected to see increased global demand, along with its derivatives, biodegradable plastic PCL (Polycaprolactone) and PCL polyol (polycaprolactone polyol).
Title: Research in the functional material area of Caprolactone-related products and their applications
Speaker: Yang Huaren (Vice General Manager of Hunan Juren Chemical New Materials Co., Ltd. (JUREN))
Date and time: October 4th (Wednesday) 13:30-14:15
Highlight 2: Introducing the Biomass monomer, Biomass polyol, bionylon, etc. made from plant-derived raw materials.
HighChem uses plant-derived raw materials and handles many biomass-derived Chemicals raw materials and intermediate raw materials that contribute to reducing CO2 emissions and fossil resource consumption. At this exhibition, we will introduce Biomass monomer, which are becoming increasingly popular as raw materials for biodegradable plastics and bioplastics, and PLA diol (polylactic acid diol), which contributes to the greening of polyurethane used in fashion products and car seats.), "Biomass polyol" such as polypropylene carbonate diol, and "bionylon" will also be exhibited.
Highlight 3: biodegradable plastic includes PLA (polylactic acid) and marine degradable resin PHA
Starting in 2020, HighChem has entered into a business strategic partnership agreement with BBCA group, the world's largest PLA supplier, and is actively developing the Japanese market for biodegradable plastics. At this exhibition, we will exhibit not only our main product PLA but also PHA (polyhydroxyalkanoate), which is biodegradable in the ocean.
