HighChem Exhibits at ‘Nepcon Japan’! Promoting Nano Solder Particles for Next-Generation Electronic Products

HighChem participated in ‘Nepcon Japan’, Asia’s largest electronics development and implementation exhibition, held from January 25th to 27th.

The highlight of the exhibition was the newly developed next-generation packaging materials such as ‘Nano solder particles’ and ‘Heat dissipation sheets’. In addition, they also expanded the sales of existing electronic materials, substrates, glass, etc.

What were the products that attracted attention at Nepcon Japan?

A wide range of products were exhibited at Nepcon Japan, but let me introduce two products that attracted particular attention.

Visitors interested in ‘Nano solder particles’

Nano Solder Particles

With the miniaturization of future electronic products, there is an urgent need for solder particles used for adhesion to be nano-sized.

The nano-sized solder particles developed by HighChem were a product that attracted particular attention at the venue!

HighChem’s product is especially a product of interest as it can solve the problems of oxidation and aggregation, which are challenges at the nano-grade.

Currently, we are receiving inquiries from many electronic material-related companies and are preparing at a rapid pace for practical use in 2-3 years.

Perovskite hole material "Spiro-MeOTAD"

Perovskite solar cells are the next-generation solar cells that are attracting the most attention in the world today, with a high conversion efficiency that is almost equivalent to the currently mainstream silicon solar cells.

One of the features is that it shows a high conversion efficiency even in low-light environments such as indoors, and it is possible to generate electricity even on rainy or cloudy days, which was difficult with conventional solar cells.

The ‘Spiro-MeOTAD’, a hole transport material for perovskite solar cells developed by HighChem, can be provided at a low price and can contribute to the cost reduction of solar cell manufacturing, which was difficult with the silicon type. In addition, the material can be supplied in a stable manner, allowing for continuous supply even when perovskite solar cells are mass-produced.

Exhibition Manager

I am truly grateful to the many people who visited our booth. About 300 people visited our booth at this exhibition. In particular, I re-recognized the importance of our HighChem products that support next-generation electronic products because of the interest in next-generation packaging materials. Also, by talking to the people who visited the booth, I made aware again of not only the exhibited products but also the direction of development and demand for electronic materials in the future.

We aim to expand HighChem’s sales force as a result of this exhibition!
