HighChem Launches Initiative to Boost Employee Well-being with Monthly ¥5,000 Fitness Subsidy
HighChem Company Limited (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo President and CEO: Ushio Taka hereinafter referred to as HighChem) is introducing a subsidy program from January 2023 to enhance employee well-being by encouraging exercise habits. This initiative reflects the company's commitment to promoting the physical and mental health of its staff.
Employees who submit a screenshot from an app proving they've walked average of 10,000 steps per month or more will receive a ¥5,000 subsidy.
HighChem believes that, to bridge various gaps, it's crucial to have a mature mindset and a broad perspective. Valuing the principle that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body, the company sees regular exercise as an essential step to achieving physical health. In this new initiative, employees engaging in activities like walking average of 10,000 steps per month will receive a monthly subsidy of ¥5,000 to encourage their participation and commitment to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
2. Joining a sports club and engaging in regular activities at least once a week (soccer, basketball, tennis, etc.)
3. Individuals who continue to exercise habitually. (running, walking, etc.)
*You will need to submit proof of an average of 10,000 steps/day or more per month or 30 minutes or more three times a week (It is possible to also submit separately from an app)
