To meet the demands of miniaturization and high performance in electronic devices, laminated boards (printed wiring boards) equipped with high-performance semiconductors continue to evolve. HighChem has leveraged its strong development capabilities in the resin field, honed in Japan and China, to develop the Bismaleimide-Cyanate Resin.
The Bismaleimide-Cyanate Resin, known for its superior heat resistance, is widely adopted in electrical and electronic materials, including laminate materials. It is also widely used in composite materials such as CFRP (carbon fiber-reinforced plastics) for aerospace and space applications.
HighChem has begun sample work on monomers, including the heat-resistant and electrically superior thermosetting "Cyanate Monomer," as well as "Bismaleimide Monomer," characterized by its rigid chemical structure and high reactivity.
In addition, for polymers, HighChem offers "BACE-10" (product name), a polymer of Cyanate Monomer, and "Bismaleimide-Cyanate Resin 'HR Polymer' (product name)," a co-polymer composed of Bismaleimide and Cyanate Monomers (triazine component).

Cyanate Monomer "BACE"
A resin with excellent heat resistance and electrical properties. It features excellent solvent solubility and low melting viscosity, offering excellent processability.
Bismaleimide Monomer
A compound with a rigid chemical structure and high reactivity. It is used not only as a monomer but also as an additive in polymers, enhancing the strength and heat resistance of the resin.
HighChem offers three types of general-purpose Bismaleimide: "HMI-01," which has excellent solvent solubility; "HMI-07," known for its excellent flexibility; and "HMI-08."
Cyanate Monomer Polymer "BACE-10"
This material boasts high heat resistance, low thermal expansion, low dielectric properties, and a high glass transition temperature.
Bismaleimide-triazine resin "HR Polymer"
A thermosetting resin obtained by copolymerizing Bismaleimide and Cyanate Monomers (triazine component). It has high heat resistance and excellent electrical properties.
