HighChem Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Ushio Taka, hereinafter HighChem) has signed a sponsorship agreement with female professional golfer Yuting Seki, who is active in Japan and China.
Yuting Seki was born in Fukui Prefecture to Chinese parents and spent his childhood in Kyoto. After that, she spent time in China, where she won her first victory on the China Ladies Professional Golf Association (hereinafter, CLPGA) Tour in 2016 at the age of 18. In 2019, she won the Japan Ladies Professional Golf Association (hereinafter, JLPGA) Step Up Tour "Nichi-Iko Women's Open" and passed the 2019 JLPGA Pro Test. Since then, she has achieved high rankings in numerous tournaments.
Since its establishment, HighChem has promoted business that connects societies with different cultures and values as a "bridge between Japan and China." As we celebrate our 25th anniversary this year, we have defined our mission, vision, and values with the phrase "We are the BRIDGE." This statement encapsulates our longstanding essence of being a bridge—a role we have fulfilled and wish to continue into the future. It symbolizes our desire to connect broader worlds and reach further into the future, reinforcing our commitment to serving as a pivotal link in expanding horizons and forging new paths.
We strongly sympathize with Yuting Seki, who has a deep background in Japan and China, and continues to take on new challenges, such as winning majors on the JLPGA Tour and participating in the U.S. LPGA Tour (including the U.S. Women's Open), and have concluded a sponsorship agreement with her.
